RD Recycling CIC sorts and removes all rubbish for you for one fixed fee. Additionally, when you hire a skip, it is very likely that you will end up transferring all the unwanted contents of your property into the skip and that these items will all end up in landfill. At RD Recycling CIC we are very environmentally aware and ensure we recycle as much as possible when we carry out a property clearance.

The vast majority of our customers are private homeowners; we deal with properties for sale and rent, deceased estates, cluttered properties etc. We also work with commercial clients and deal directly with solicitors and estate agents as and when required.

We carry out both full and partial clearances and can clear any property from a small residential house to large industrial premises.

Our experience extends to offices, where we have appropriate systems in place to deal with the appropriate disposal of important documents. We are also well equipped to dispose of hazardous waste such as computer monitors, fridges, etc. in a manner which meets current guidelines.

Property clearance is all we do, and with years of experience in property clearance we have developed a keen sense for what is disposable and what needs to be retained. We don’t operate a skipping style service, rather, we filter the contents of the house in an appropriate and efficient manner, retaining reusable, resalable and sentimental items along the way.
On a full house clearance we clear the entire house, including all clothes, shoes, bedding, ornaments etc. We then recycle as much of the remaining waste as possible.
YES. RD Recycling CIC are experienced in dealing with properties in a state of disrepair and those which are insanitary and/or contain waste from vermin etc. We can provide a cleaning service as part of the property clearance. We clean all ceramics such as the toilet, sink and bath tub, the woodwork, kitchen cupboards & worktops, rub down all skirting, doors and windows. RD Recycling CIC will supply all of the required cleaning appliances and materials to carry out the work. We can also carry out general ‘tidy up’ of the rest of the house, including the garden and . When any outbuildings. When we have completed the house clearance the property will be ready for sale or let.
Most of the clearances we do are completely FREE of charge providing the goods donated are reusable. Unlike other companies we don`t pick the best items and leave you to clear the rest. We will clear all items including items that are not reusable and also any waste that is left behind. We aim to recycle and reuse as much as we possibly can, however if there is waste to be recycled we charge very competitive rates for clearing waste and items that are not reusable.

YES. Often, seeing photographs of the property will help us to get a more accurate feel for the work which needs to be carried out.

RD Recycling CIC can usually clear a full, average sized property within 2 to 3 hours. The time which it will take to clear your property depends on size of the property, level of clutter etc. Before we come to your property we will provide you with an estimate for the time which we will take to clear your property and if we find that the house clearance is taking longer than expected we will inform you along the way.

At RD Recycling CIC we operate with the upmost discretion on every property clearance we carry out. If, during a clearance, we find confidential items (such as legal documents) or items which we feel may hold sentimental value (such as photographs) we will always inform the customer to allow them to decide what to do with them before disposing of them in an appropriate manner. We can also destroy confidential items by shredding and, if required, can provide written documentation to confirm that the items have been destroyed in an appropriate manner.

If there are any items which you do not want removed as part of the house clearance, we can either set those aside for you or we can deliver these items to a secondary location for you.
At RD Recycling CIC we operate a 7 day working week between the hours of 7.00am and 8.00pm. We will arrange the house clearance to meet the needs of our customers, and therefore we often end up carrying out house clearances on Saturdays and Sundays.
We can carry out your house clearance within 24 hours of your call, or schedule your clearance in for a specific time and date of your choice. At RD Recycling CIC we are well equipped to take on jobs at short notice across the whole of Lancashire and surrounding counties. We try to be as flexible as possible and work 7 days a week.
YES. While we do not offer a standalone cleaning service, we offer a comprehensive cleaning service in addition to our property clearance service.

NO. We can carry out the house clearance independently, so you do not need to be at the property at the time of the house clearance. If, on the other hand, you feel that you would like to oversee the work, we would be more than happy to undertake the house clearance in your presence.

If you don’t want to be involved in the house clearance, you don’t even need to be there to hand us the keys, you can either arrange for us to pick the keys up from you and drop them back once the house clearance is complete or you can simply post the keys to us (by recorded mail) and we will post them back to you once the house clearance is complete.

We can also deal directly with your solicitor, estate agent or relevant third party (including a neighbour) and arrange to pick the keys up from them and return them when the job is finished. We will try to be as flexible as possible in order to accommodate your needs.

YES. It is generally safer to leave it to the professionals to disconnect appliances, and we have the relevant experience to carry out disconnections for you on all standard appliances, including gas cookers.
RD Recycling CIC works to ensure that every member of staff who we employ is honest and has a moral conscience which is in line with company principles. If we find items of value during a house clearance, we will set these items aside and hand them over to you at the end of the clearance. We have found and handed back many valuable and sentimental items over the years

YES. RD Recycling CIC is fully insured to undertake the work which we do. We have public liability insurance for your protection and will carry out risk assessments where necessary. All of our staff also wear protective clothing when required.

YES. We are fully registered with the Environment Agency.

We are very aware of the impact which property clearance can have on the environment, and are actively working to ensure that an absolute minimum level of the items which we handle end up in landfill. We also ensure we donate as many items as possible including clothing and bedding to charities.
